Fred Sanford Trash Tournament

Gorditas! Gorditas!

Two current MAQTers and two geezers travelled to Virginia for a seven-team trash tournament. They finished 10-2 in the double round robin event, splitting with Georgetown/Pickrell (8-4) and the Gerbils, who also finished 10-2 but won on head-to-head point differential.

NAQT Mid-Atlantic Conference Championship

Maryland A

The A team went undefeated, and beat Virginia in a very unnecessary final. Hell, we could even afford 3 1/2 negs per game. And I don't care what Tim Young says, I won that damn neg title and led the field in points destroyed!

Maryland A

MLK was very enjoyable this year, thanks to Carol's editing and the extremely competent moderators. We are glad, however, that we played the exhibition team on the "stump-the-chump" round. Anyway, we won with a 12-2 record, with a close loss to Chicago and the aforementioned loss to Jim, Patrick, Mike Musgrove, and Don.
